Annapurna base camp trek exceeds the excitment and adventure involved in any other treks in Nepal. Attracting almost 70,000 trekkers a year, Annapurna base camp trekking is a unique experience for adventurers, beginners and experts alike. Annapurna Base Camp (4,140m/13,582ft) is a small campsite surrounded by mighty mountains from all side, Machapuchhare (6,993m/22,943), Annapurna I (8091m/26505ft), and Hiunchuli (6,441m/21,131ft), respectively.

This is one of the most beautiful treks that combine easy walking with majestic scenery and a mix of cultures unmatched by any other treks in Nepal. The ethnic villages of Ghandruk (HQ of Annapurna) and Chhomrung are the most intimidating villages trekkers encounter during the trek.

Beginning the trek from lowland pastures and cultivated fields, the trails of the trek soon get into the deep forests of oak, bamboo and rhododendron. The trail finally stumbles across moraines and reaches Annapurna Sanctuary from where you will see undeniably beautiful and unimaginable panoramic imagery of the serene surroundings.

Highlights of Annapurna Base Camp Trek

Chiranjivi Chaudhary Have just returned from Nepal I would thoroughly recommend Ace Heritage Nepal. From the moment I landed into Kathmandu the level of service was second to none. I was apprehensive about travelling on my own but Saligram made sure that everything ran smoothly. Lila my guide was brilliant and as well as having many a laugh on the way he looked after me all the way. Having good local contacts I stayed in some lovely friendly and homely teahouses and nothing was too much trouble for Saligram and Lila - I look forward to travelling to Nepal again and would strongly think about using them again - top notch company.
